What I learned as an engineering student at a college in bangalore

It is considered one of the old and good colleges in Bangalore

A Glimpse of how an Indian engineering college looks like
Banglore is a vibrant city with the most opportunities to work in tech than any other city in India and there are a plethora of engineering colleges to support the need of growing demand of the IT industry. The city has a young and educated population.
The first year of college was a reputation of subjects in 12th along with common subjects of engineering and practicals which would not be too useful in the age of automation and AI so I would not consider the skills I learned in this year too useful and most college students was as new and confused as anybody else.
In 2nd year you enter the real world of computer science with subjects like data structure C, C++ operating system, etc.

In the third year through practicals, you get introduced to web development, web design, Arduino some additional subjects, and 4th year Java and Software security, etc.

But I feel there was great value in the social skills and relations I had formed during my time in college as never I had been exposed to such a wide variety of people from different backgrounds in one place.

I had been exposed to campus festivals which taught organization and networking and being resourceful(Juard)
Conflict management and better communication skills/

I think it was a great time to know yourself as without it would be confusing to know what you want to do in life
